Smartphone: Redmi 10 Prime 50 MP quad camera, launched in India with 6000 mAh battery

Digital Desk, New Delhi. Redmi, a sub-brand of MI India, on Friday launched its first 50 MP smartphone Redmi 10 Prime in the Indian market. The Redmi 10 Prime is priced at Rs 12,499 for 4GB plus 64GB storage and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB plus 128GB model. It comes in three colours and will start selling in India from September 7 through Xiaomi India Channel and Amazon.

With the launch of Redmi 10 Prime, we are bringing an all-around superstar, with an experience that users connect with the Redmi Note series with the Redmi Series, comes with camera, high-resolution display, high performance and power-packed battery life, Xiaomi India Chief Business Officer Muralikrishnan B said in a statement.

 

The smartphone has a 6.5 inch IPS LCD screen with full-HD Plus (1080 X 2400 pixels) resolution and 90 Hz adaptive fresh rate. The smartphone has a quad rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary snapper, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depath lens. There is an 8MP selfie camera.

The phone offers a number of photography features such as time lapse, slow-mo, kaleidoscope mode, sky scraping mode as well as built-in editor. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek Halo G88 processor, which is up to 6GB with RAM and up to 128GB storage. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5

 

 

The smartphone has a 6,000mAh battery with 18Watt and 9W reverse charging support. For connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a headphone jack and a Type-C port. In addition, smartphone Nimarta has also launched Earbuds 3 Pro. It has 2,999 built for an in-year design, rubber tips and an IP X 4-rated water resistance.
