Redmi 10 Prime smartphones to be launched in India on this day, company tees off


Redmi 10 Prime smartphone is likely to launch in India on September 3, which has been reported by Xiaomi on Monday. The Chinese company has also revealed some of the major specifications of the smartphone through a microsite dedicated to the phone. If we look at some old reports, the Redmi 10 Prime phone Redmi 10 smartphones may have a rebranded version, which was launched by Xiaomi last week. The smartphone also provides information that the phone can have a whole-punch display adaptive refresh rate and MediaTek helio processor.

Xiaomi has changed the user name of its Redmi India Twitter account to 10 different prime numbers, indicating the arrival of Redmi 10 Prime. The Twitter account posted a tweet on Monday containing a link to a microsite. The link features a timer, indicating that the Redmi 10 Prime phone could be launched on September 3 at 12 noon.

The micro site also features some of the key features of the Redmi 10 Prime phone, including hole-punch design, adaptive refresh rate and dual microphone.

Last week the Redmi 10 Prime phone was reportedly spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) site with model number 21061119BI. In this modal number, ‘I’ indicates that this model is being developed especially for the Indian market. However, the rest of the model number is similar to redmi 10. The Redmi 10 Prime phone can be a rebranded version of the Redmi 10.


Redmi 10 Prime price in India (expected)

The Indian price of Redmi 10 Prime has not been disclosed at present. However, the phone is believed to be priced at the same global price as the Redmi 10, which was launched for $179 (approximately Rs 13,300), priced at the phone’s 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone also introduced a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option priced at $199 (approximately Rs 14,800), while the phone’s top 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant was priced at $219 (approximately Rs 16,600).

Redmi 10 Prime specifications (expected)

If the Redmi 10 Prime Redmi 10 has a rebranded version, its specifications will be the same. The phone was introduced last week with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) adaptive sink display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Also, the phone was equipped with MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which was paved with RAM for 6GB and onboard storage up to 128GB. It has a quad rear camera setup that comes with a 50 megapixel primary sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for macros and deputies. An 8 megapixel sensor has been provided for selfies and video calls.

The phone has a battery of 5,000mAh with 18 Watt fast charging support. The smartphone is also capable of reverse wired charging 9W.
